1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Master Repair Inc, a licensed and insured repair and construction company at 4402 Austin Rd., Suite A, Brownsville, Texas. By using our website, chat assistant, customer portal, or services, you accept these Terms.

Registered portal users are asked to formally accept the current version of these Terms and our Privacy Policy before using the portal, and that acceptance is recorded with a timestamp.

2. Our Services

Master Repair Inc provides residential and commercial repair, maintenance, remodeling, and construction services — including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, painting, drywall, landscaping, and make-ready services — across the Rio Grande Valley and other Texas markets, with nationwide availability for select projects.

Anything not expressly included in your written estimate or contract is excluded from the scope of work.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Published prices are presented as "starting from" figures. Final pricing depends on square footage, materials, scope, site conditions, and your location, and is confirmed in your written estimate or contract before work begins.

Estimates are free and carry no obligation until a contract is signed. Regional pricing, travel surcharges, and after-hours surcharges may apply based on your service area.

4. Scheduling and Site Access

Scheduled dates are confirmed by our team and may shift due to weather, permit approvals, inspections, or hidden site conditions. You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area, including any access codes or entry arrangements described in your request.

5. Payments and Invoicing

Payment terms, deposits, retainage, and due dates are stated in your contract or invoice. Overdue amounts may accrue late fees where permitted by Texas law. Lien rights are reserved and exercised only in accordance with Texas mechanic’s and materialman’s lien statutes.

6. Changes to Scope

Work outside the signed scope — including hidden conditions discovered on site — requires a written change order. Contingency-drawn changes are documented the same way. Work covered by a change order proceeds only after it is approved and, where offered, digitally signed.

7. Permits, Codes, and Compliance

We perform work in accordance with applicable building codes and permit requirements of the local authority having jurisdiction. Permit costs, when required, are itemized in your estimate. Work may be subject to municipal inspection and approval.

8. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

We stand behind our workmanship with the warranty period stated in your contract (typically twelve months from substantial completion), covering defects in workmanship. Manufacturer warranties govern materials and fixtures.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the services is limited to the amount you paid for the affected work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.

9. Website and Account Use

You agree to use our website and portal lawfully, to provide accurate information, not to attempt unauthorized access to other users’ data, and not to misuse the chat assistant or forms. We may suspend access for conduct that endangers the service or other users.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content — text, images, logos, blog articles, and generated marketing content — belongs to Master Repair Inc or its licensors and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission. Content you upload (such as project photos) remains yours; you grant us the right to use it to deliver and document your project.

11. Termination

Either party may end a service relationship as described in the contract. You may stop using the website at any time. We may restrict access to the site or portal for breach of these Terms, with notice where practical.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought in the state or federal courts serving Cameron County, Texas.
